1.Agreement
These terms govern your use of the Calmo Money website, email list, services, book pre-orders, and the Calmo app (together, the "Services"). By using any of them, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.
2.What Calmo Money is — and isn't
Calmo Money provides financial education and personal finance tools. Our content, book, emails, and app are educational: they explain systems, habits, and strategies for managing money and debt.
We are not a bank, law firm, licensed investment adviser, or tax professional. Nothing we publish is investment, legal, or tax advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy or sell any security. For decisions that need a licensed professional, hire one.
Results vary by individual circumstances. No outcome — a credit score change, a payoff date, a savings amount — is guaranteed.
3.Your credit rights
We do not offer credit repair services. Before you pay anyone who does, know your rights under federal law:
- You have the right to dispute inaccurate information on your credit report yourself, directly with the credit bureaus, at no cost.
- You have the right to obtain free copies of your credit reports at annualcreditreport.com.
- No one can legally remove accurate, timely negative information from your credit report.
Anyone charging you for credit repair must follow the Credit Repair Organizations Act: a written contract, no fees before the work is done, and three days to cancel. If someone promises to remove accurate information, walk away.
4.The email list
Joining our email list means you'll receive recurring emails: money strategies, product news, and promotional offers from Calmo Money and from select partners. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email, and it takes effect immediately. How we handle your email address is covered in our Privacy Policy.
5.Book pre-orders
When Quiet Wealth pre-orders open, specific purchase terms (pricing, delivery, cancellation, and refunds) will be presented at checkout and will govern those orders.
6.The Calmo app
The Calmo app stores your financial data on your device only, encrypted. We never receive it. Because of this, we also cannot recover it: if you delete the app or lose your device without a backup, your data is gone — that is the flip side of privacy by architecture. App purchases and subscriptions are handled through the app stores under their terms.
7.Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for anything unlawful, including credit fraud or identity misrepresentation;
- Scrape, copy, or resell our content or Services without written permission;
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Services.
8.Intellectual property
The Calmo name, wordmark, website, book, and app are owned by Calmo Money and protected by law. You may not use our brand without written permission. Content we publish is for your personal use.
9.Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calmo Money's total liability for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer protection law does not allow to be limited.
10.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE — set before launch], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
11.Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be announced to our email list before they take effect. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the new terms.
